Once the adoption papers are signed, we will contact one of our local veterinarians that have agreed to help our office spay and neuter. We will set up an appointment for your new dog to be spay/neutered, receive its “first shots,” and its one year rabies vaccination, all at no charge to you. Any other veterinarian work is paid by the new dog owner.
You may then take the dog home with you and take it to the appointment that has been set up by our office. This will give you and your dog time to bond before the vet appointment.
If you wish to adopt a dog from a distance, and/or represent a rescue group that has determined to adopt the dog without sending a representative to the kennel, the kennel has a volunteer who will expedite the process for you. Please click on "Long-Distance Adoption."
